The band's shamstep sound, traditional Palestinian street music fused with electronic production, is itself a refusal of borders, both musical and political. These aren't separate struggles. They're the same frequency, different transmitters.

Surrounded by Saharan desert blues and Tunisian trance revival, the song makes its case through rhythm as much as words.

Palestine returns with three voices. Saint Levant's "Mandela": born during the Second Intifada, singing from the space between Jerusalem and Gaza. Ruba Shamshoum's "Fuqaati (My Bubble)": a Palestinian-Irish artist carving out interior space in a world that won't leave you alone. El-Funoun Palestinian Popular Dance Troupe closes with traditional dabke: dance as memory, as resistance, as survival, a tradition maintained since 1979. Aziza Brahim joins from the Western Sahara, a Saharawi voice from the refugee camps; same frequency, different transmitter.

Every land is holy land. The implications are radical. BVA means them literally.
